Hanalei Bay Villa #19
Princeville, Kaua'i

The most beautiful place on earth!
Hanalei Bay Villa 19 is located on the North Shore of Kauai in the resort area of Princeville.
The Princeville resort boasts two world class golf courses, the Prince Course and the Makai Course which will give discount rates to our Hanalei Bay Villa/ Princeville Resort guests.
Princeville is on a bluff which serves as a vantage point for some of the most magnificent ocean, bay and mountain views in the world. Whether it be sunrise, sunset, noon or night, sunshine or rain, the view is always just another version of "breathtaking".
Beach access is a short walk either to the Princeville Hotel beach or across the street and down the bluff trail to Hideaways- warm clear tropical blue water, soft golden sand and natural island palm shade. Bring down some snorkeling gear and a good book, but don't be surprised if you become so absorbed in the tranquility of your environment that you don't get around to reading it! Walk a little farther and immerse yourself in the Queens Bath. Just a bit more walking to complete your mission to discover the Secret Beach. Of course Anini Beach is also worth a look.
The Princeville Hotel is a short walk from our door for dining, shoppping and entertainment amidst the inspirational views of the mountains and Hanalei Bay.
Just down the road is the Princeville Shopping Center with its own selection of local restaurants and a Foodland Market so you can stock up on your own supplies and cook up a storm at the Hanalei Bay Villa, if the mood takes you.
OK,you don't need to jump into your, car but Kauai is luring you to explore it. First stop, down the hill to the town at Hanalei Bay where you'll find great little restaurants, shops and galleries, not to mention the beach at Hanalei Bay. We happened to be there on February 19th this year and stumbled upon the famous PineTrees surf break not only in action, but being graced by none other than the inspirational Bethany Hamilton, Andy Irons, Bruce Irons and other incredible surfers. You sit on the beach, watch the dogs play, and look at the mountains across the water and can't help but think that this must be the magical land of Hanalee where Puff the Magic Dragon roamed.
You feel so good, it can't get better than this...trust me, there's more, so jump back in the car and start winding your way east. Don't forget to stop before the many one way bridges you will encounter on your way to the road's end on the Napali Coast. You can also stop at the beach where they filmed South Pacific, Tunnels Beach and the Canons surf break, to name a few, but be prepared, each time, to say to yourself "This is paradise as I imagine it... but it's real!"... then, you pinch yourself. How will you cope when you spot the waterfall cascading toward the beach at the road's end?
Oh my gosh, we're saturated, sometimes literally, in the spirituality of Kauai and there's so much more to do- hike the Kalalau Trail , head south to Poipu and around to the west coast, the National Botanical Gardens http://www.naainakai.org/index.html, boat trips, helicopter rides....BOTTOM LINE.... no-one ever wants to go home!
